Graduate Course (2024-2025 Spring Semester): Haptic Sensing Technology

The rapid development of robotics and AI has created immense value for society, improving living standards and subtly changing lifestyles. Haptic sensing technology enables robots to navigate human environments more naturally and flexibly, while also offering immersive experiences in the metaverse (virtual reality) and providing health monitoring services. The “Haptic Sensing Technology” course introduces the latest advancements in haptic perception, focusing on robotic tactile sensors and wearable body-sensing devices. The course covers sensor design principles, mechanical analysis, structural design, material selection, circuit design, data acquisition, calibration methods, data processing, and application cases, with a focus on practical applications.

Undergraduate Course (2024-2025 Autumn Semester): Analog Electronic Technology

This course introduces the fundamentals of electronic circuits for undergraduate students in the Advanced Manufacturing and Robotics Engineering. Topics include resistive elements, sources, amplifiers, energy storage, first- and second-order networks, and analog circuit analysis in time and frequency domains. By the end of the course, students will understand key electrical engineering principles and be able to analyze and design basic electronic circuits. They will also learn to model non-linear and active components, like MOSFETs, and recognize the practical applications of the systems studied. Through designing and analyzing common electronic devices and circuits, students will gain the essential knowledge and skills needed for advanced studies in electronic technologies, especially for robotic applications.
